Historique :	L'iconographie de ce retable renvoie aux activités de la commune de Vimenet aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. Les archives révèlent en effet la présence de nombreux maçons et de travailleurs du bâtiment, ainsi que d'un grand nombre de tisserands rassemblés au sein de la confrérie de Saint-Eutrope.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le centre du retable est occupé par un haut-relief représentant, sous un dais, sur la gauche, saint Eutrope en évêque, avec une navette de tisserand à ses pieds, et sur la droite, saint Roch de Montpellier, avec un compas et une équerre à ses pieds, attributs évoquant son rôle de saint patron des maçons.
